One Room Menu Design

Stage 1-Initial Concept
After the GUI concepts Michael started to work on extra stuff for the game starting off with a simple main menu. This concept would require a sunburst effect which would rotate in the corner while the menu buttons would be on the left hand side.

Stage 2-Initial Concept 2
Once Michael was finished with the initial concept he stated to work up a more refined one which would have the same effects and movement. The menu was made to look simple as time could be made to work on more important things

Stage 3-Final Concept
However after a few days Michael came back to the previous design and decide to start over again and make the main menu look better but still be simple. So he used the same technique as the inventory to create a detailed Art Deco style line design inspire by the Great Gatsby. This menu would have smoke in the background which that would move. This is a much better design and Michael is happy that the changes were made.
