Stage 1-Story Board
To add more of a professional feel to the game Michael decided to make an animated intro scene. He started to make a story board of what he wanted to happen and then he would use some skills that he learnt in Adobe After effects, to create the cut scene. This was quick and simple, the difficult part would be to put it all together in After Effects.
Stage 2-Animated Intro Scene
The start of the animation was simple and easy and even till the end Michael achieved what he wanted from the story board. However he did have difficulty doing the walking animation, and as a result of practising and looking through some animation books he was able to achieve the walking cycle. The next issue was the pulling down of the A.I.s tittle credit, but this was an issue he had to change because of the time restraints. So now the walking cycle goes right through the scene without stopping and the A.I.s TV pushes the A.I.s tittle credit down. Michael also added some other stuff to the animation to help make it flow better. Overall I am happy with how it looks and flows, in fact he prefers the changes that were made to it and he wouldn't change anything about its outcome.
Stage 3-Animated TV Static
Stage 3-Animated TV Static
Michael made an animated static noise for the TV this was surprisingly quick to do and the result is great. This will be applied to the back in the TV screen for AI to come to life.
